After Microsoft's acquisition of Mojang was Minecraft Tools announced earlier this year, the Minecraft developer and Xbox division head Phil Spencer were quick to reassure fans that they still want to keep the popular sandbox creation title on Playstation platforms like the recently released PS4 edition with the game. Making good on who promise, the state run Playstation blog announced on Sept. 18 that Minecraft: PS4 Edition can be receiving a physical retail disc release this October.
According to Levin and also the official website, MinecraftEdu was created to permit teachers to get going while using the game as a possible educational tool by replacing command lines which has a custom menu system, making it easier to acquire a server installed and operating for any classroom, and provide world-building tools to restore faster to make buildings and other objects. One example shown was the user building in the wall by placing block at the top of a column and then moving several spaces left and bottom to set another block. The wall was then automatically filled in with the same blocks.
