The Mo' Paper mod provides even more features and uses to newspaper in Minecraft. You can now utilize it to craft armor and tools and even food and blocks with it. It's now mineable and can be both crafted and found in grass form. Queue the paper revolution!
You'll find paper in ore form so when you mine it it becomes a newspaper coal. It functions exactly like regular coal essentially. You can also still craft paper with sugar cane but even better is you can now craft paper from leaves so you're more likely to assemble a hefty stock of paper for all of your needs. And you'll also come across many areas of paper grass in your trips. You can make paper bakery even!
Paper can be used visually with newspaper bricks and paper blocks now. They're a neat look and blend well with any white based construction you may well be working on.
The Wallpaper mod is designed to dress up your surfaces with neat designs that don't take up any extra space. These simply paste over existing surfaces without needing to move things around or add any additional bulk to your rooms.
The patterns go up four block areas and duplicate for as long as you need. But make certain to place the wallpaper in succession or you might get mismatched tiles.
However in rare instances you'll find much more valuable blocks. These can range between Dragon Eggs and Diamonds tools/shield to full Gem (and other unusual ore) Blocks.
